ISRAEL AT WAR
On Saturday morning, the world awoke to news of a deadly attack on Israel by Palestinian militant group, Hamas. Escalating violence has killed or injured thousands and an unknown number have been abducted — reportedly including the elderly, women and children. The UN has condemned attacks on civilians and hostage-taking, warning of an “extremely dire” humanitarian situation in Gaza and calling for Israel to allow humanitarian aid into the region.
We are heartbroken and shocked by the devastating violence and loss of life in Israel and Gaza. Will you join us as we pray for peace and for all those suffering through this worsening humanitarian crisis?
A Prayer for PEACE!
Nobody wins.
As the war entered a new phase, with possible ground operations in Gaza, the Israeli people stand united behind their soldiers. We pray for a speedy and just resolution to the conflict.
"As we pray urgently for peace, we recall especially all the families and individuals suffering from these events.
"Our hearts are shocked and saddened by the death of hundreds of people, and thousands more who are wounded or dispersed already."
Hospitals are overflowing as war continues.
Both sides need help.
The volume of human patients has pushed the system to its limit. They are in critical condition. Everywhere you looked, there were people in critical condition. Some were writhing in pain, while others lay still, their eyes closed in silent desperation.
The Israeli military has warned 1.1 million people living in northern Gaza to evacuate south for their safety.
